Practicing Self-Love

We all know the “Golden Rule” – do unto others as you would have others do unto you. If you tend to be highly self-critical but more loving and compassionate with others, try flipping that around. Do unto yourself as you would do unto others.

Start by just looking at the way you treat yourself, and ask yourself if you would treat someone else that way. Then try being a little more kind, a little less judgemental, a little more compassionate toward yourself.

Treat yourself with the same love and respect as you would give someone else. After all, you are just as worthy and deserving of your love and respect as anyone else.
